True freshman Micah Hudson is on the Texas Tech two-deep but is not a listed starter. Hudson, a five-star and one of the top recruits in Texas Tech history, suffered an injury in the spring but was mostly healthy for fall camp. Him not starting might be a surprise to some but given the quotes from Zach Kittley, he should be featured.
Hudson is a five-star receiver and finished as the WR1 in the freshman class for the 2024 Campus2Canton Freshmen Draft Guide. He is a high-end athlete going to an offense that should feature him long-term. Do not panic.
