The hype around transfer receiver Jeremiah Patterson hit a crescendo in fall camp, culminating in a starting position for the Wildcats with the recently released depth chart. Patterson, who joins the team from the College of San Mateo, looks to fill in for Jacob Cowing following his departure to the NFL.
This is a highly productive passing offense looking for another receiver to emerge behind superstar Tet McMillan. Given the productivity from the slot last season, Patterson is stepping into a role with significant value. His upside is largely college fantasy related as he is of diminutive size (5’10” 175lbs) but the staff loves him.
Patterson is unranked at Campus2Canton but should be on waiver-wire watch lists to start the season. Arizona gets New Mexico in week one.
