The NFL Season is here, but we’ve been in it all year long. As Dynasty players, the season never really ends. But keeping up with the fluctuations week-to-week can help you gain an advantage. That’s the point of the stock watch—to process what we see on the field and apply it to players whose value is rising and whose is taking a hit. Those fluctuations can help guide your management decisions as you shape your Dynasty roster for the long haul.
Week 7 is in the books; let’s look at what we learned. We’ll look at one player at QB, RB, WR, and TE whose value improved and one whose value took a hit. Let’s dive in.
Quarterbacks
Stock Up: Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

About: Don’t look now, but Goff is on a heater. After taking the Lions to the NFC Championship Game in 2023, Goff was rewarded with a new, long-term contract this off-season. Now, he has the Lions at 5-1, having scored 30+ points in each of the past three games. And Goff has been nearly perfect with his completion percentage, tossing touchdowns, and not giving up turnovers. He’s become a gem in fantasy that could be cooking at a high level for years to come.
Stock Down: Will Levis, Tennessee Titans
About: Levis was a surprise inactive on Sunday. A shoulder injury knocked him out of the lineup. But it’s fair to wonder if the Titans used the injury as a means of making a change. Mason Rudolph wasn’t incredible, but the offense moved better in the first half, building a 10-7 lead over the Bills. They eventually lost the game, but it seemed an improvement at times over Levis, who has just 699 yards passing, five touchdowns, and seven interceptions. If you were banking on Levis as a long-term starter, it’s time to turn to plan B, much like the Titans.
Running Backs
Stock Up: Javonte Williams, Denver Broncos

About: I don’t want to go too crazy, but Williams has picked it up the past few weeks. He had 60 or more rushing yards in three of his last four games, with a steady involvement in the passing game. It’s still a committee in Denver, but Williams is establishing himself and making it easier to slot him into your lineup. If he can follow up on this week’s big performance, we might edge closer to the potential we’ve always thought Williams had. But, if you’re nervous, the sell-high window might just have swung wide open.
Stock Down: Zamir White, Las Vegas Raiders
About: White missed a few games with an injury, but now he seems to have lost his spot to Alexander Mattison. White had a solid stretch to close 2023 but has struggled mightily in 2024. He has just 165 yards on 52 carries this season. Sunday, he had just three carries for 13 yards. If you took a zero RB shot on White, it is time to look elsewhere.
Wide Receivers
Stock Up: Troy Franklin, Denver Broncos
About: It’s been a good few weeks for Franklin, a fourth-round selection of the Broncos who has history and chemistry with Bo Nix, his college quarterback. The Broncos took a deep shot to Franklin in Week 5. He had two receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 and led the Broncos with five receptions for 50 yards in Week 7. It’s not incredible numbers—yet—but Franklin is taking advantage of Josh Reynolds’ absence and working toward relevance in your fantasy lineup.
Stock Down: Christian Kirk, Jacksonville Jaguars
About: Kirk has been the most reliable of the Jaguars receivers the past few seasons, but it has been different in 2024. Kirk, though healthy, has taken a back seat to Evan Engram and Brian Thomas, Jr. He has just four receptions for 63 yards in the past two weeks. He’s not a reliable start, as it looks like the Jaguars are focusing more on their new rookie wide receiver.
Tight Ends
Stock Up: Ja’Tavion Sanders, Carolina Panthers
About: The Panthers are a dumpster fire, but there have been bright spots. One of them is the rookie tight end out of Texas. He has 14 receptions in the past three weeks and is showing he’s a part of this pass offense. That’s a good sign for those who drafted him, hoping to see him develop into a viable fantasy option.
Stock Down: Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers
About: As part of the youth movement to rebuild the passing game, the Packers took two tight ends in the 2023 draft. Musgrave was the higher of the two choices, but Tucker Kraft has surpassed him as a receiver. Now, on IR, it’s unclear what role, if any, Musgrave will have in the offense in the future. For those who drafted him hoping to hit on a starting option, it’s time to move on to Plan B.
