We’re into the off-season, but there is still plenty of work to do on our fantasy teams. At this point, it’s about reflecting on the season, checking out rosters, and reading the tea leaves for these NFL Franchises. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll look at the biggest fantasy question for each of the 32 NFL teams.

Today, it’s the final eight teams. Since the Super Bowl is Sunday, I currently have the Eagles and Chiefs in order of regular season record.

Part 1: Teams 1-9 Part 2: Teams 10-18 Part 3: Teams 19-24

No. 25: Los Angeles Rams

Record: 10-7
Biggest Fantasy Question: Are they getting the gang back together?
About: The Rams have a good offense. They have playmakers with Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, and Kyren Williams. Or at least they did in 2024. That’s what helped them get to the top of the NFC West. But will they be back?

Stafford is mulling his options but has suggested he doesn’t expect to be back with the Rams. Kupp said he’s planning to play in 2025 but doesn’t expect to be back with the Rams. If that’s the case, the Rams are in the market for a quarterback and another weapon this off-season. Suppose one or both do return, and that could go a long way toward the Rams making another playoff run in 2025. Until we get an answer to the question of the future for Stafford and Kupp, the Rams remain a huge unknown, especially in a draft position where they aren’t likely to find a new franchise quarterback.

No. 26: Houston Texans

Record: 10-7
Biggest Fantasy Question: Finding more passing game weapons.
About: The Texans headed into the 2024 season seemingly loaded with weapons. The team added Joe Mixon to the backfield and went in with a great trio of receivers in Nico Collins, Stefon Diggs, Tank Dell, and tight end Dalton Schultz. The team ended the season in the playoffs with just Mixon, Schultz, and Collins.

Diggs and Dell were lost for the year, and no clear replacement exists. Diggs is a free agent who could command a decent salary. Dell suffered a gruesome leg injury that’s expected to keep him out most, if not all, of 2025. That leaves the Texans back in need of a WR2. While John Metchie and Xavier Hutchison showed some pop, the team needs another consistent weapon alongside Collins to take another step forward in the AFC.

No. 27: Baltimore Ravens

Record: 12-5
Biggest Fantasy Question: More passing game weapons.
About: The Ravens, much like the Texans, need more consistent weapons. The Ravens have one solid receiver in Zay Flowers, who missed the playoffs entirely with injury. They saw former first-round pick Rashod Bateman pick up his production a bit and got some good production from Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely at tight end.

But the Ravens lack an alpha in the passing game, which shows. They have the makings of a power offense, with Lamar Jackson as the quarterback and Derrick Henry as the running back. Getting a solid No. 1 option in the passing game could be a key to taking a step forward in the AFC playoffs.

No. 28: Detroit Lions

Record: 15-2
Biggest Fantasy Question: What will the offense be like?
About: The Lions’ offense was amazing in 2024. They put up massive points, and four skill position players went for more than 1,000 yards while quarterback Jared Goff was on the shortlist for MVP. That helped the team get to 15 wins. All those key players are coming back. The Lions have Goff at quarterback, Jameson Williams, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Sam LaPorta in the passing game, and David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs in the backfield.

So, why the questions? Well, the team lost Offensive Coordinator Ben Johnson and a slew of other coaches. All that leaves questions about the scheme and whether a new staff can get the most out of the Lions’ talented cast. That is a question to observe if you’re heavily invested in this Lions’ offense moving forward.

No. 29: Washington Commanders

Record: 12-5
Biggest Fantasy Question: Can they get Jayden Daniels a better supporting cast?
About: Jayden Daniels was a godsend for the Commanders. They went from the second overall pick to the NFC Championship Game. He will likely be the Offensive Rookie of the Year, and for good reason. But if they want to go further, they need to improve the group around him.

The Commanders have one true star in the passing game—wide receiver Terry McLaurin. And while I still like him in this offense with Daniels, the team needs more. The second-best passing game option was veteran tight end Zach Ertz, who isn’t expected to return. Rookie Ben Sinnott could be ready to step up there, but what about at receiver? The team patched it together in 2024 with Olamide Zaccheaus, Noah Brown, and Dyami Brown. They would be well served this off-season to find a good compliment to McLaurin.

No. 30: Buffalo Bills

Record: 13-4
Biggest Fantasy Question: What are they doing in the passing game?
About: After a rough loss to the Ravens early in the season, the Bills decided to up their game by trading for Amari Cooper. The implication seemed to be that they needed more consistency at receiver. But Cooper caught just 20 passes for 297 yards during the season.

The Bills have one solid possession receiver in Khalil Shakir and a lot of bodies. They have Keon Coleman, heading into year two, and veterans like Mack Hollins and Curtis Samuel. The team has Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid at tight end, too. However, none of the role players have been consistent, which has led to an offense that pieces it together around Josh Allen and running back James Cook. Can the Bills clarify and build up that passing game? That would undoubtedly help Allen and fantasy players figure out what to do.

No. 31: Philadelphia Eagles

Record: 14-3
Biggest Fantasy Question: Can they do it again?
About: The Eagles are loaded on offense. The addition of Saquon Barkley gave them a great running game. There is plenty of firepower with Jalen Hurts at quarterback and a passing game that includes DeVonta Smith, A.J. Brown, and Dallas Goedert. And with Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore, they put it all together.

Can they keep it together? Moore is a hot candidate that could end up in New Orleans, which means that Hurts and the Eagles’ offense could start over yet again. That’s a question that will be worth watching heading into 2025.

No. 32: Kansas City Chiefs

Record: 15-2
Biggest Fantasy Question: Who plays running back?
About: In the playoffs, the Chiefs have relied on veteran Kareem Hunt to lead the backfield. Hunt doesn’t have a long shelf life in his second stint with the team.

Meanwhile, Isaih Pacheco rushed for just 310 yards, suffering a leg injury. He’s been a non-factor in the playoffs and increasingly looks like he’s not the long-term answer for the Chiefs. He heads into a contract year in 2025, and for dynasty players, I’d make other long-term plans. With a strong running back class, I’d watch for the Chiefs to make a move to improve the backfield production and boost the offense.
