According to Tulane beat reporter Guerry Smith, Tulane QB Brendan Sullivan injured his leg and came up limping in practice yesterday. Head Coach Jon Sumrall said the initial scans were “Ok” but that there was no full report yet. Sullivan is currently battling former BYU transfer QB Jake Retzlaff for the starting job at Tulane.
Retzlaff has been expected to win the job by many, and if Sullivan’s injury keeps him off the field, Retzlaff’s chances to start should improve.
