The 2025 NFL Season is here, and with it comes some lineup questions. Which moves should you make to maximize your points? Let this weekly post be your guide as I offer one start and one sit suggestion at QB, RB, WR, and TE. These suggestions are based on my rankings compared to the consensus each week. And because we want to measure our success, check back each week for a recap on how I did.

For this project, a start is a player I think will finish in the Top 12 at QB or TE and the Top 24 at RB or WR. A sit is a player I think will finish outside those metrics. Before we dive into this week’s suggestions, let’s review how we did last week. All scoring is courtesy of Fantasy Pros.

Before we look forward, it’s time to look back at Week 13.

Week 13 Starts

QB: Josh Allen, QB13 Miss. Allen hasn’t provided a lot of pop the past two weeks.
RB: Travis Etienne, RB52 Miss. Etienne was MIA in the Jaguars’ win.
WR: Ja’Marr Chase, WR13 Hit. Chase and Burrow led the Bengals to a win.
TE: Brock Bowers, TE1 Hit. Bowers saw plenty of action on Sunday.
Start Record: 2-2

Week 13 Sits

QB: Lamar Jackson, QB27 Hit. Jackson continues to struggle.
RB: R.J. Harvey, RB2 Miss. Harvey was the star for the Broncos on Sunday night.
WR: Deebo Samuel, WR32 Hit. Samuel wasn’t great against the Broncos.
TE: Kyle Pitts, TE5 Miss. It was a good week for Pitts.
Sit Record: 3-1

Now, on to the Week 14 picks.

Quarterbacks

Start: Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts

About: Jones has had a solid season for the Colts. Yes, the team is fighting for the division. And, yes, Jones has a broken leg. But the Colts have a huge matchup with the Jaguars this week. After back-to-back losses, the Colts need a win. The Jaguars’ defense has been stronger against the run than the pass, so I expect Jones to step up as the Colts look to get the victory.

Sit: Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

About: The Bears enter this week at the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC. And yet, the offense has been somewhat unpredictable. This week, the Bears are on the road against the Packers, a place that hasn’t been kind to them in recent years. The Packers have plenty to play for as well, and I suspect that will begin with bottling up Williams.

Running Backs

Start: Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens

About: The Ravens are in a fight for a playoff spot and the title in the AFC North. This week, they host the Steelers. While Lamar Jackson has struggled the past three weeks, the team has leaned on Henry. He has 17 or more fantasy points in each of the last three weeks. I think he’ll keep it up in a must-win game for the Ravens at home.

Sit: Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans

About: Like the rest of the Titans, Pollard has been stuck in neutral this season. The Titans don’t have much going on offense, and that includes the run game. Pollard is only RB32 on the season, and doesn’t figure to be able to crack through much against a stout Cleveland Browns defense.

Wide Receivers

Start: A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles

About: Sometimes, you just need to remind people you exist. That seems to be the tactic Brown took earlier this season, when his complaints about the offense made headlines. Now, the team seems to be focusing on getting him the ball. When they do, good things happen. That’s good for the Eagles and good for fantasy. I like Brown to continue it on Monday night in Los Angeles.

Sit: D.J. Moore, Chicago Bears

About: I mentioned above that I’m not bullish on Caleb Williams this week. It’s a tough matchup in a place the Bears haven’t done well recently. It’s also tough to know which receiver is going to get targets in Chicago. Early in the season, it seemed to be Rome Odunze. A few weeks ago, it was Moore. No one seems to be a safe option week to week. In a big week for fantasy, I’m not relying on the Bears.

Tight Ends

Start: Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens

About: It’s been an uneven year for Andrews and the Ravens’ passing game in general. But in big moments, Andrews consistently steps up. Fresh off a new contract extension and facing the Steelers in a must-win, I suspect Andrews steps up again. He’s a start for me in Week 14.

Sit: Oronde Gadsen II, Los Angeles Chargers

About: For a minute, Gadsen was red-hot. He was putting up points, and Justin Herbert seemed locked in on him. Since Week 10, he hasn’t had more than six points in any matchup. Facing the Eagles on Monday night won’t help. Gadsen is a sit for me.
