The NFL Season is here, but weβve been in it all year long. As Dynasty players, the season never really ends. But keeping up with the fluctuations week-to-week can help provide you with an advantage. Thatβs the point of the stock watchβto process what we see on the field and apply it to players whose value is rising and whose value is taking a hit. Those fluctuations can help guide your management decisions as you shape your Dynasty roster for the long haul. Week 14 of the season is in the books. Letβs look at what we learned. Weβll look at one player at QB, RB, WR, and TE whose value improved, and one whose value took a hit. Letβs dive in.
Quarterbacks

Stock Up: Shedeur Sanders, Cleveland Browns
About: Is Sanders the answer for the Browns? That remains unclear. I also realize the Browns lost on Sunday because somehow that defense surrendered 31 points to the Tennessee Titans. But Sanders seems to be showing he has potential and upside. He went for more than 300 yards with three passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown on Sunday. Thatβs a good sign for those who roster Sanders, especially as he has a few more games to keep showing what he can do.
Stock Down: Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts
About: Jones had an amazing comeback season, doing some great things with the Colts. But that came to a crashing halt on Sunday as he tore his Achilles tendon. Thatβs a substantial injury, especially for a passer who relied on his mobility. It comes late in this season, meaning itβs likely to linger into and through 2026. Thatβs not a great sign for a player who is on a one-year deal with a very uncertain future. Itβs bad for Jones, but itβs also bad for those who roster him in fantasy.
Running Backs

Stock Up: Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans
About: Itβs been a poor season for the Titans and all their players, including Pollard. He was just RB32 coming into the game and hadnβt been much of a threat. But on the road against a good defense, Pollard exploded. He went for more than 160 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Titans to their second win of the season. Itβs a hopeful sign that the Titans might be turning it around, at least a little, down the stretch of the season.
Stock Down: James Cook, Buffalo Bills
About: Relax, Cook is still a good running back on a good team. But his ball security has become a bit concerning. It reared itself in Week 13 in Pittsburgh, despite a good running day. And it showed up again in Week 14 as Cook put two balls on the ground, including one near the goal line, that cost his team points. Cook is still a big part of the Billsβ offense, but itβs worth watching to make sure the cold and wet weather isnβt sapping Cookβs upside.
Wide Receivers

Stock Up: D.K. Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers
About: Sometimes you just need a kick in the pants. Aaron Rodgers was far from complimentary about the Steelersβ pass catchers following a weak performance against the Bills. He said they needed to be better. On Sunday, Metcalf was better. He caught seven passes for 148 yards on 12 targets, helping guide the Steelers to a big win over the Ravens.
Stock Down: Troy Franklin, Denver Broncos
About: For a while, it looked like Franklin was emerging as a go-to receiver for the Broncos. But the past two weeks, heβs faded as a primary target. He had just two receptions for 21 yards in Week 13 against the Commanders and three for 11 yards in Week 14. For the time being, Franklin doesnβt look like a good lineup bet, especially as we enter the fantasy playoffs.
Tight Ends

Stock Up: Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
About: While the Falcons havenβt benefited from the return of Kirk Cousins, Pitts has. The past two weeks have seen him catch 13 passes for 172 yards. Heβs been a big factor in the passing game, especially with Drake London out with injury. If you roster Pitts, seeing Cousins return to the starting lineup is a positive development. It seems to have brought him back to life on the field and for fantasy just as we hit the home stretch.
Stock Down: Zach Ertz, Washington Commanders
About: It was a rough Sunday for Ertz. He was the subject of a brutal hit, which had him leave on a cart. The severity of his injury isnβt known yet, but his season is over. For an older player who was nearing the end of his career, this could well be the end of his run. If you were holding him in dynasty, it was likely to make a playoff run. But itβs time to look elsewhere, both in 2025 and moving forward.
