That’s what the Stock Watch is all about: tracking week-to-week value shifts to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to moving and acquiring players. Below is one player at each key fantasy position who improved in value and one who saw their value take a hit. Let’s dive in.
Quarterbacks
Stock Up: Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
About: Young’s solid day in Week 1 was lost due to the fact that his team’s defense surrendered 59 points. But Young had another good day in Week 2, throwing three more touchdowns as the Panthers walked away with a huge win over the Falcons. Young is finding weapons with Tet McMillan, Jalen Coker, and Darren Waller, who had two touchdowns on Sunday. He could be a fun start for fantasy.
Stock Down: Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers
About: Time is undefeated, and it comes for everyone. I was interested to see how he would do back with Mike McCarthy. But after an uninspired showing in Week 1 against a woeful Falcons team, Rodgers looked downright dreadful against the Patriots. He was under constant pressure and couldn’t get anything going. If you were counting on him as a fantasy option in 2026, you might want to pivot.
Running Backs
Stock Up: Bhayshul Tuten, Jacksonville Jaguars
About: The Jaguars lost on Sunday, but Tuten continues to look solid as the team’s lead back. He rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown, adding a couple of receptions. In Week 1, he had 66 yards and a 22-yard reception. He’s not blowing anyone away, but he looks solid as the team’s lead back, and he’s been a solid fantasy option. Tuten was one of the biggest unknowns heading into the season, and so far, he looks up to the challenge.
Stock Down: Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns
About: The Browns got an upset win in Tampa Bay on Sunday. And while Deshaun Watson seems to be finding a groove and developing some receivers, Judkins can’t get on track. He had just 21 yards on 12 carries. That was a week after having just 33 yards on 12 carries. Judkins showed he’s a talented young back last season, but he can’t seem to find a way to contribute for fantasy this season.
Wide Receivers
Stock Up: Dontayvion Wicks, Philadelphia Eagles
About: Wicks was one of the steadiest contributors for the Green Bay Packers the past few seasons. Whenever he got a chance on the field, he made the most of it. Now in Philadelphia, he has a consistent chance to contribute, and he’s making it count. Through two weeks, he has seven receptions for 147 yards and a touchdown. He’s worth a flex spot in your lineup. Jalen Hurts is looking for him, and he’s coming through.
Stock Down: Jerry Jeudy, Cleveland Browns
About: While Denzel Boston, KC Concepcion, and Harold Fannin are powering the Browns’ pass offense and connecting with Deshaun Watson, Jeudy is nowhere to be seen. He has just two receptions for 26 yards all season. He’s unplayable.
Tight Ends
Stock Up: Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans
About: When the Texans’ receiver group is struggling, Schultz steps up. He’s done it throughout his time in Houston, and he did it again in Week 2. With Nico Collins out, Schultz did all he could to keep the Texans in it. He has 12 receptions for 140 yards. With Collins still ailing and Jayden Higgins and Tank Dell out, Schultz should keep eating in this Houston pass offense.
Stock Down: Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears
About: One reception for three yards. That’s all Loveland has through two games. He did get a reception in Week 2 after his team shut down in a 59-point Week 1 performance. But for a player that figured to be one of the top options in fantasy, this is a grim start. And with Caleb Williams possibly looking at an extended time out of the lineup, it’s time to have a plan B.
