Which moves should you make to maximize your points? Use this weekly post as your guide, as I offer one start and one sit suggestion at QB, RB, WR, and TE. These suggestions are based on my rankings compared to the consensus each week. To measure our success, check back each week for a recap of how I did.
For this project, a start is a player I think will finish in the Top 12 at QB or TE and the Top 24 at RB or WR. A sit is a player I think will finish outside those metrics. In the coming weeks, I’ll start with a recap of how I finished the prior week. All scoring will be courtesy of Fantasy Pros.
Before we move forward, let’s see how we did in Week 3.
Week 3 Starts
QB: Jared Goff, QB17 Miss. It wasn’t a Top 12 week.
RB: Chuba Hubbard, RB12 Hit. Hubbard is producing.
WR: DeVonta Smith, WR32 Miss. The Eagles failed to soar in Chicago.
TE: Dalton Schultz, TE32 Miss. A different Houston TE got the TD…
Start Record: 1-3
Week 3 Sits
QB: Justin Herbert, QB23 Hit. Herbert continues to struggle.
RB: J.K. Dobbins and R.J. Harvey, RB39, RB24 Miss. Harvey just sneaked in.
WR: George Pickens, WR23 Miss. Pickens just got in under the wire.
TE: Colston Loveland, TE26 Hit. Loveland was better, but not good enough.
Sit Record: 2-2
Now, on to the Week 4 picks.
Quarterbacks

Start: Kirk Cousins, Las Vegas Raiders
About: Don’t look now, but the Raiders are 3-0 this season. Now, they’re at home with a big battle against the Chiefs. More importantly, Cousins has looked like the real deal for the Raiders, which is keeping No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza safely on the bench. Cousins is QB9 on the season, and I expect him to keep it up as the Raiders push the Chiefs atop the AFC West.
Sit: Drake Maye, New England Patriots
About: It hasn’t been a good season for a player who was runner-up for MVP in 2025. He’s been a turnover machine, and the Patriots’ offense has been a disaster. A trip to undefeated Buffalo isn’t likely to be the tonic. Maye is QB31 on the season so far. He has a long way to go to reach QB1 territory, and it won’t be this week.
Running Backs

Start: Jeremiyah Love, Arizona Cardinals
About: To start the season, I was wary of Love. He was banged up, the Cardinals had a committee, and I wasn’t sure how good they’d be overall. But he has risen above and continues to show the talent that made him a top draft pick. He’s already RB14 on the season and is pushing Tyler Allgeier into more of a supporting role. I’d like Love to shine again as the Cardinals visit the New York Giants.
Sit: Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints
About: I think there could be a lot of points and fantasy points Monday night as the Falcons battle the Saints. With Travis Etienne Jr. out with an injury, Kamara should be the Saints’ backfield focus. We’ve seen him thrive as both a runner and receiver. But we haven’t seen it much the past two seasons. It’s enticing to throw him in against the Falcons, but I’m not trusting him to finish Top 24.
Wide Receivers

Start: Jordan Addison, Minnesota Vikings
About: The Vikings are 3-0, leading the NFC North. They also host the Dolphins this week and have been installed as 11.5-point favorites. With Justin Jefferson ailing on a gimpy ankle, it makes sense Addison would be the focus. That was the case in Week 3, when he finished as WR12. I expect more of the same as the Vikings look to move to 4-0.
Sit: Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears
About: The Bears’ offense has been a bit hot-and-cold this season. And while Kalif Raymond continues to star for the Bears, receiver Rome Odunze has been quiet. He’s only WR56 on the season. I like the talent, but much like with Colston Loveland, I’m not trusting him as a weekly lineup option until we see more consistency.
Tight Ends

Start: Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
About: The Chiefs are off to a hot start, going 3-0. While a lot of that is a credit to Kenneth Walker, who’s been as good as advertised, the passing game has been strong, too. Kelce has been strong, looking like his vintage self so far. He’s TE2 on the season and shows no signs of slowing down. The Kansas City passing game flows through him, and I like him to keep it up in a big matchup with the Raiders.
Sit: Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers
About: I like Kraft’s talent, and he just got a big contract from the Packers. Before his injury last year, he was one of the league’s best tight ends. But it’s been a slow start as he gets back into the swing of things in this offense. He’s only TE27 on the season. I need to see more consistency for Tucker and the Packers before I’m relying on him each week.
