Dynasty is a year-round game. We’re always watching the latest news and tracking player movement, looking to stay ahead of the crowd and gain an edge. While we play the long game, week-to-week performances can drive long-term shifts or offer clues about future value. That’s what the Stock Watch is all about: tracking week-to-week value shifts to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to moving and acquiring players. Below is one player at each key fantasy position who improved in value and one who saw their value take a hit. Let’s dive in.

Quarterbacks

Stock Up: Malik Willis, Miami Dolphins

About: The Dolphins have had a tough start, 0-5. It’s also been a tough start for Willis, the first-year starter who didn’t get many weapons. But coming off a bye week, Willis showed signs of life. He threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns without an interception and added some yards on the ground, too. And the Dolphins won. This could set the stage for at least a decent QB2 season for Willis as he settles in with this young Dolphins team.

Stock Down: Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts

About: The Colts are now 2-5 and looking like the season is slipping away. The team already fired General Manager Chris Ballard and appears open to deadline trades. With Jones, who signed a new contract this off-season, struggling and making mistakes, it could well be time for the Colts to see what they have in Anthony Richardson. Either way, Jones shouldn’t be in your lineup.

Running Backs

Stock Up: Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans

About: The Titans came up just short of a second straight win, but Pollard did his part. He tied a career high with three touchdowns and rushed for 129 yards. It’s another solid game for Pollard, who is showing signs of life in this Tennessee offense. He is working himself back into lineup consideration for fantasy as well.

Stock Down: TreVeyon Henderson, New England Patriots

About: On paper, Henderson would seem to be the most talented back for the Patriots. But in practice, he seems to have lost his spot in the offense. Rhamondre Stevenson is the clear RB1, while the team has also mixed in Corey Kiner, who had more carries than Henderson. He’s not even getting decent receiving game work. All that leaves Henderson as a big-name player who can’t produce in your lineup.

Wide Receivers

Stock Up: K.C. Concepcion, Cleveland Browns

About: The Browns invested at receiver this off-season, using their first two draft picks to land players. We’ve seen Denzel Boston have chemistry with Deshaun Watson early, and now it’s Concepcion. He was a huge factor in the Browns’ win, catching eight passes for 129 yards and adding 23 yards on three carries. He’s showing why the Browns invested in him this off-season, and why he should be in your lineup.

Stock Down: Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts

About: It’s fair to say the quarterback situation and the pass offense in Indianapolis are problems. But the team also isn’t getting anything from Downs. With Alec Pierce on IR and Michael Pittman in Pittsburgh, Downs should be a key part of the pass offense. And yet, he’s being outplayed by veteran Keenan Allen and journeyman Laquon Treadwell. Downs isn’t producing enough to warrant a spot in your lineup, and it’s a question whether he’s even worth a roster spot right now. The talent is there, but he hasn’t been able to put it together in Indianapolis.

Tight Ends

Stock Up: Mason Taylor, New York Jets

About: This season, rookie Kenyon Sadiq has made moves for the Jets’ passing game. Sunday, Taylor made it clear he won’t go quietly. The second-year man had two touchdowns and a huge two-point conversion as the Jets tried to make a furious comeback against the Dolphins. Can this offense support two tight ends and a receiver? That’s unclear. But Taylor is worth at least a stash.

Stock Down: Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

About: Otton has had a tough season, despite being a solid contributor for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This season, as the Buccaneers’ pass offense has struggled, Otton has disappeared. He has just 19 receptions for 186 yards in seven games. Today, he put up a goose egg on a single target. He’s talented, but there’s not enough volume to justify putting him in your lineup.
