It’s DFS after dark for another night slate this Saturday and I’m here to light the path. Here are your Week Six core plays, tournament plays, and fades for the night slate.
Core Plays
Looking at quarterback, some very apparent value jumps out at us right away. Cameron Ward ($5,600) is coming into his own in this scheme the further we get into this season. The USC defense he faces this week likely won’t be as difficult to pick apart as the Oregon and Wisconsin defenses he’s already faced. Elsewhere in the PAC12, Bo Nix ($8,900) is once again a QB option that is very much in play. He has a price that may deter some but is justifiable with such an intriguing matchup. The Ducks should be able to move the ball on Arizona, and the Wildcats have the playmakers in the passing game to make things interesting (and perhaps even pull out a shootout).
Running back doesn’t provide as many slam dunks or high-priced options but Will Shipley ($6,900) and Chris Rodriguez ($7,000) provide a ton of volume in what should be favorable game scripts. Clemson is favored by 20 in a matchup that features the 88th-ranked run defense in the Golden Eagles and for Rodriguez, he’ll see the 108th-ranked Gamecock run defense. Both of these plays feel like they have a solid floor and the potential to blow up.
