The 2024 season is upon us. Are you ready? Hopefully, youβre in for a winning campaign. But those of us who play Dynasty know itβs a 365-day-a-year endeavor. When weβre in season, itβs about patching roster holes and making pickups that can benefit you in the long term.
Below are the players on your Waiver Wire that might be worth targeting. As we begin bye weeks, that will be even more crucial. All roster percentages are courtesy of the NFL.
Quarterbacks
Malik Willis, Green Bay Packers
Roster Percentage: 0.2

About: You might have had Willis earlier this season and set him free when Jordan Love returned. Well, Love tweaked his groin on Sunday, and now heβs questionable for a few weeks. We saw Willis do well in relief before and in Superflex; heading into more bye weeks, he needs to be rostered.
Running Backs
Dalvin Cook, Dallas Cowboys
Roster Percentage: 5.9
About: There are a lot of people who refused to give up on Cook despite his not appearing all season. He might have only appeared Sunday because Rico Dowdle was ill, but he did get activated. Heβs part of the mix for the Cowboys, who need more production in the run game. Heβs worth a flier.
Roschon Johnson, Chicago Bears
Roster Percentage: 1.3
About: Johnson is now the clear No. 2 option for the Bears backfield. It might not mean big numbers, but he has been a deep-league flex option. His touchdown Sunday is a reminder he has a role. While I still like DβAndre Swift more, Johnson is worth rostering.
Wide Receivers
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Tennessee Titans
Roster Percentage: 0

About: DeAndre Hopkins is gone, leaving a vacuum in the Titansβ pass game. Westbrook-Ikhine has done it before and is picking it up again. He has four targets each of the past two games and touchdowns in three straight games. Itβs not incredible, but itβs enough to suggest he needs to be rostered.
Rakim Jarrett, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Roster Percentage: 0
About: Jarrett is back active with the Buccaneers receiver room in disarray thanks to injuries. He caught three passes for 58 yards on Sunday. Itβs not a huge output, but it shows Jarrett is part of the answer without Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. And with the rest of the Buccaneer’s other receivers having struggled with injuries, he could have an even bigger role.
Cedric Tillman, Cleveland Browns
Roster Percentage: 2.8
About: Tillman is red-hot. He has 17 receptions for 181 yards and two touchdowns in the two weeks since Amari Cooper was shipped out. Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore are there, but Tillman is a guy to grab, and it looks like you can drop into a deep league flex spot.
John Metchie, Houston Texans
Roster Percentage: 0.1
About: The Texans are struggling in the receiver room. Nico Collins is on IR, and it looks like Stefon Diggs will be joining him. So, they need other options. Metchie stepped up into that void, catching three passes on Sunday. He was once a high draft pick for the Texans and is worth a stash in deep leagues.
Jalen Coker, Carolina Panthers
Roster Percentage: 0
About: Coker has quietly produced for the Panthers, who need more weapons. He has had 12 receptions in the past few weeks, including four on Sundays, where he had 78 yards and a touchdown. With Adam Thielen on IR and Diontae Johnson on the trade block, Coker could have even more of a role. Heβs worth a stash.
DJ Turner, Las Vegas Raiders
Roster Percentage: 0
About: Turner is part of the plan to replace Davante Adams for the Raiders. Heβs seen 11 targets in the past two weeks, catching six passes. He hasnβt exploded in his production, but heβs getting opportunities. That makes him worth a roster consideration in deep leagues.
Tight Ends

Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars
Roster Percentage: 4.9
About: We saw Strange step up with Evan Engram out, but on Sunday, we saw him get involved even with Engram in the lineup. Now, with Christian Kirk out for the year, Strange could be a part of the offense in Jacksonville. Given the struggles at times at the tight end position, heβs worth a deep league add.
Adam Trautman, Denver Broncos
Roster Percentage: 0
About: Greg Dulcich is out, Lucas Krull and Adam Trautman are in when it comes to tight end for the Broncos. Trautman has experience with the Sean Payton offense, and heβs developing chemistry with Bo Nix. Trautman is worth a stash if you need tight end help.
