The NFL Season is here, but weβve been in it all year long. As Dynasty players, the season never really ends. But keeping up with the fluctuations week-to-week can help you gain an advantage. Thatβs the point of the stock watchβto process what we see on the field and apply it to players whose value is rising and whose value is taking a hit. Those fluctuations can help guide your management decisions as you shape your Dynasty roster for the long haul.
Week 14 is in the books; letβs look at what we learned. Weβll look at one player at QB, RB, WR, and TE whose value improved and one whose value took a hit. Letβs dive in.
Quarterbacks

Stock Up: Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
About: Stafford, the veteran, has been a reliable fantasy player. But the past couple of seasons, as the Rams have struggled and Stafford has been beaten up, itβs been tough. This season started slow, but with Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp back and thriving, Stafford is back to being a dominant passer and a strong fantasy option. Heβs a great veteran target for playoff teams looking for a QB2 for a title run.
Stock Down: Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
About: With the Cardinals amid a playoff push, Murray has come up small. The past three weeks, heβs struggled with consistency and turnovers as the Cardinals went from 6-4, leading the AFC West, to 6-7 and chasing the Seahawks. Worse yet, heβs been an inconsistent play for those counting on him. For Dynasty, heβs a player Iβd look to move based on his name recognition, as it doesnβt seem like he has what it takes to come through in the clutch.
Running Backs

Stock Up: Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers
About: Jacobs was one of a slew of big-time running backs that changed teams this off-season. Heβs found a place to thrive in Green Bay, and itβs been a boon for fantasy players. That included a three-touchdown performance against the Detroit Lions on Thursday night. He has eight touchdowns in his last five games, powering the Packersβ offense down the stretch and boosting fantasy lineups in a crucial stretch of the season.
Stock Down: Jonathon Brooks, Carolina Panthers
About: Brooks was widely taken as the first back in 2024 Rookie Drafts. While he was coming off a significant knee injury, it looked like he had a path to meaningful touches. Instead, we had to wait for him to be active while watching Chuba Hubbard put a stranglehold on the role and earn a four-year extension. With Brooks finally active, he hasnβt provided much pop. He had nine carries for 22 yards before going down with a non-contact knee injury Sunday. He had to be carted off, and now we await further tests, but it doesnβt look promising. At best, itβs a lost year for Brooks. But itβs trending toward another potentially lost season in 2025, and plenty of questions about the future.
WideΒ Receivers

Stock Up: Tim Patrick, Detroit Lions
About: Itβs been a tough couple of years for Patrick, who saw his season end before it began due to injury. But this year, heβs worked his way back. After a good pre-season, he was released by the Broncos, only to get a soft landing with the Lions. On Thursday, he looked strong as he caught two touchdowns to help the Lions get the win over the Packers. Patrick is a solid veteran with a decent role on a good team that could continue growing or lead to more opportunities this off-season. Heβs a great late-season stash.
Stock Down: Kadarius Toney, Cleveland Browns
About: Toney was once a First-Round pick. Now, heβs on his third team and still hasnβt found a way to contribute. For the receiver-starved Chiefs in 2023, Toney made crucial drops and ended up a healthy scratch. This year, he was released. He landed with the Browns, who have an opening at receiver. But the past two weeks have been crucial drops and mistakes, like the fourth-quarter fumble Sunday against the Steelers. All that leaves him as a player with no value and no place on even the deepest fantasy roster.
Tight Ends

Stock Up: Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints
About: Johnson is one of the few healthy options for the injury-riddled Saints. Thatβs resulted in a big uptick in opportunities. He has 12 receptions and three touchdowns in his last three games. That makes him a tremendous late-season target for tight end-needy teams.
Stock Down: Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
About: We hoped Pitts would have a big 2024 in a new system with a new quarterback. It hasnβt panned out that way. Pitts has just seven receptions in the past five games. He had one game with four receptions, leaving four games with one reception or less. Sunday, despite six targets, he caught one pass for 14 yards. That’s the same number of receptions and only three more yards than fellow tight end Charlie Woerner. That leaves Pitts as a talented player who is a liability in fantasy lineups. Barring some big changes, heβs not a reliable fantasy starter.
