The NFL Season is here, but we’ve been in it all year long. As Dynasty players, the season never really ends. But keeping up with the fluctuations week-to-week can help provide you with an advantage. That’s the point of the stock watchβ€”to process what we see on the field and apply it to players whose value is rising and whose value is taking a hit. Those fluctuations can help guide your management decisions as you shape your Dynasty roster for the long haul. Week 3 of the season is in the books. Let’s look at what we learned. We’ll look at one player at QB, RB, WR, and TE whose value improved, and one whose value took a hit. Let’s dive in.

Quarterbacks

Stock Up: Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

About: A low rumble for most of the back half of the 2024 season was the lack of passing offense for the Eagles and Hurts. That rumble continued through the first two weeks, when the Eagles threw for 253 yards in two games. On Sunday, trailing 26-7 at the half, it looked grim. But Hurts kicked it into gear, throwing for 226 yards and three touchdowns in a come-from-behind win. It showed that when needed, Hurts and the passing game can still be a factor.

Stock Down: J.J. McCarthy, Minnesota Vikings

About: McCarthy was so mediocre through his first two starts that when it was announced he had a high ankle sprain, many began to speculate it was a cover to get him out of the lineup. It wouldn’t be a shock if that turned out to be the case. Either way, veteran Carson Wentz got the start on Sunday and led the Vikings to a 48-10 route of the Cincinnati Bengals. It was a performance and a game that will certainly give coaches and fans even more pause about the second-year quarterback. It’s not an excellent sign for his long-term future.

Running Backs

Stock Up: Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns

About: It’s been a roller-coaster for Judkins since the NFL Draft. He went in the Second Round and figured to be a star for the Browns. But an off-season incident cast a shadow over his potential in 2025 and beyond. In fact, he was the last rookie to sign with his teamβ€”on the eve of the Browns’ regular season opener. He got some run in Week 2 but was declared the starter before Week 3. In that role, he dominated backfield touches, rushing for 94 tough yards and a touchdown in the Browns’ upset victory over the Packers. It looks like it’s wheels up for Judkins.

Stock Down: Breece Hall, New York Jets

About: Hall is coming into a contract year and faced competition for touches in the Jets’ backfield. He looked solidβ€”though missing out on touchdownsβ€”in Week 1. But since then, he’s not only sharing carries, he’s not been much of a factor in the run game. Hall has just 50 yards rushing on 19 carries the past two weeks, averaging less than three yards per carry. His receptions have helped some for fantasy, but he’s increasingly looking like a player who needs a fresh start.

Wide Receivers

Stock Up: Elic Ayomanor, Tennessee Titans

About: The 0-3 Titans haven’t been great, and they haven’t been fun to watch. And yet, the rookie receiver out of Stanford continues to impress. Through three games, he has 10 receptions on 18 targets for 107 yards and two touchdowns. He’s developing into a consistent target for young quarterback Cam Ward and has settled into the WR2 role for the Titans. If you snagged him late in drafts, he’s looking like a solid flex option.

Stock Down: Brian Thomas, Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars

About: Look, I know Thomas snagged a 46-yard reception late to make his day look better. But prior to that, he had just one reception for nine yards. It’s the third quiet week in a row. If you’re looking for positives, it’s that he’s still earning targets. He has 25 targets in three games. However, he has only seven receptions for 115 yards. Thomas is talented, but he’s out of sync with Trevor Lawrence. He’s no longer the automatic start he was last season.

Tight Ends

Stock Up: Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills

About: Kincaid had an underwhelming second season, though he was still second for the Bills with 75 targets. Injuries interrupted his rhythm and kept him from making the leap. So far in 2025, things appear to be looking better. So far, he’s had at least four receptions in each of the three Bills games, collecting 13 receptions for 151 yards and two touchdowns. That makes him a solid option at a suddenly strange position. Although it may have taken longer than expected, Kincaid appears to be ready to make the leap.

Stock Down: Evan Engram, Denver Broncos

About: Engram missed Week 3 entirely. But it’s not as if the Broncos missed a lot of production. Through two weeks, Engram posted four receptions for 33 yards. His off-season signing was big news and generated big expectations. But, like last season, injuries and inefficiency have negated his potential upside.
