Dynasty is a year-round game. We’re always watching the latest news and tracking player movement, looking to stay ahead of the crowd and gain an edge. While we play the long game, week-to-week performances can drive long-term shifts or offer clues about future value. That’s what the Stock Watch is all about: tracking week-to-week value shifts to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to moving and acquiring players. Below is one player at each key fantasy position who improved in value and one who saw their value take a hit. Let’s dive in.

Quarterbacks

Stock Up: Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns

About: I figured when Watson was named the starter for the Browns, it would be a couple of bad games and then we’d see Shedeur Sanders. That seemed to hold true through the premier, which saw the Browns get blown out by the Jaguars. But a funny thing happened after that. Watson and the Browns figured it out. They’ve won three straight, and while he’s not setting the world on fire, he looks like a solid NFL starter. He’s also looked like a decent low-end Superflex option. Will it keep going? It’s tough to say. But if you held on to Watson the past few years, it might be an ideal time to sell.

Stock Down: Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers

About: Jim Harbaugh might think Herbert is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, but it hasn’t seemed like it this season. The Chargers’ offense has been stuck in neutral, or rather, looked lost. The team is now 0-4, and it might not get any better quickly. Herbert was held in check by the Seahawks, throwing for less than 200 yards and tossing two interceptions. He’s not only been bad on the field, but he’s also been a lineup killer.

Running Backs

Stock Up: Emanuel Wilson, Seattle Seahawks

About: Wilson quietly signed as a free agent with the Seahawks this off-season. In the past few years, he’d been a consistent force for the Packers when called upon. In a backfield with Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price, he didn’t seem needed. But with both of them unavailable, Wilson has been the man to step up in the backfield. When Price was first injured on September 20, he rushed for 92 yards. On Sunday, filling in as the backfield lead, he had a touchdown on the ground, led the team in rushing, and added another as a receiver. Wilson looks like a lineup steal as we head into the second month of the NFL Season.

Stock Down: J.K. Dobbins, Denver Broncos

About: Dobbins was a key to the Broncos’ success early in 2025. Before his injury, he was the RB18 for 10 weeks. He ended the season on IR but earned a new contract this season. Expectations were that he would return to form. It hasn’t happened. He’s struggled to get anything going on the ground, with just 161 yards in four games. He doesn’t add much in the passing game, either. Worse, he’s looked like the fourth-best running back on his own team. If you’re relying on Dobbins in fantasy, it’s time to look elsewhere.

Wide Receivers

Stock Up: Darius Cooper, Philadelphia Eagles

About: The Eagles moved on from A.J. Brown this off-season. In his place, the team has used DeVonta Smith as its No. 1 option, with contributions from Dontayvion Wicks and rookie Makai Lemon waiting in the wings. But Cooper stepped up with Smith out of the lineup Sunday. He saw seven targets, catching three for 33 yards and two touchdowns. He now has three touchdowns on the season and looks like the young receiver you want to stash from the Eagles’ offense.

Stock Down: Michael Pittman, Jr., Pittsburgh Steelers

About: The Steelers acquired Pittman this off-season from the Colts, where he was routinely their No. 1 receiver. The expectation was he’d provide a huge boost to the Mike McCarthy offense in Pittsburgh. That hasn’t materialized. Worse yet, he seems to have no chemistry with Aaron Rodgers, a notoriously grim sign for fantasy hopes. Through four games, three played by Pittman, he has just seven receptions for 89 yards. That’s not good enough for your lineup. Worse yet, his best game was opening day. He has just four receptions for 31 yards in two games since. He should be on your bench.

Tight Ends

Stock Up: Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers

About: It took a few weeks as he worked back from injury, but Sunday it finally looked like the Kraft we saw dominating in 2025. He stepped up for the Packers, catching six passes for 42 yards and a touchdown. That, combined with his monster extension, shows Kraft is set to be a focus of the Packers’ offense for years to come.

Stock Down: Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills

About: After such a promising start to the season, Kincaid has all but disappeared. This has been the problem for the past few years, as Kincaid has lacked consistency. He was on fire in Weeks 1 and 2 but has just three receptions for 45 yards total the past two weeks. That’s not good enough to be a reliable starting option at tight end.
