Dynasty is a year-round game. We’re always watching the latest news and tracking player movement, looking to stay ahead of the crowd and gain an edge. While we play the long game, week-to-week performances can drive long-term shifts or offer clues about future value. That’s what the Stock Watch is all about: tracking week-to-week value shifts to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to moving and acquiring players. Below is one player at each key fantasy position who improved in value and one who saw their value take a hit. Let’s dive in.
Quarterbacks

Stock Up: Kirk Cousins, Las Vegas Raiders
About: The Raiders got a win Sunday, and in the win, Cousins produced three passing touchdowns and ran for another. It was a statement from the veteran quarterback after a week when it was floated that Fernando Mendoza, the first overall pick, should start for the Raiders. Cousins entered the week as QB4 and produced again. He’s showing that if there is a problem in Las Vegas, it isn’t him.
Stock Down: Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
About: We were all excited that Mayfield, a Top 12 quarterback in 2025, was back from injury. But in two games back, it’s fair to wonder how his thumb really is. He threw for just 64 yards in Week 7 and didn’t complete a pass in Week 8. If you played him in fantasy, you’re reeling. The Buccaneers won both games, so Mayfield isn’t a bigger story. But he’s not playable right now.
Running Backs

Stock Up: Braelon Allen, New York Jets
About: Breece Hall was out of the lineup again for the Jets, but it hasn’t mattered. Allen stepped up with 147 rush yards and a touchdown. It’s his third 100-yard game in the past four weeks. He’s been a great lineup addition for the Jets and for fantasy players. He’s also a big part of why Hall is on the block as the NFL trade deadline approaches. If Hall is dealt, we could see Allen as a fixture in fantasy lineups for the foreseeable future.
Stock Down: Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers
About: This isn’t about what’s happening on the field. In the two weeks since he returned from the Commissioner’s Exempt List, Jacobs has had a great start. But three more women have accused Jacobs of abuse in the latest police reports released this week. The NFL announced it’s investigating, and it’s hard to imagine Jacobs remaining available to the Packers and fantasy players. That makes him a dicey asset now and going forward.
Wide Receivers

Stock Up: Adonai Mitchell, New York Jets
About: I know the Jets dropped a close game to the Raiders to fall to 2-6, but they’ve got some pieces working on offense. One of them is Mitchell, who was added via trade with the Colts last season. This season he’s come into his own as a great option opposite Garrett Wilson for Geno Smith. Mitchell showed his skill with seven receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown. He’s becoming a weekly Flex consideration despite the Jets’ record.
Stock Down: Calvin Ridley, Tennessee Titans
About: Ridley is on the trade block and Sunday showed why. He’s no factor for the Titans despite an improving offense. The Titans took the Bengals to the limit Sunday, scoring 36 points. In that game, Ridley had just one reception for 10 yards. Perhaps a trade helps, but for now he’s barely worth a roster spot.
Tight Ends

Stock Up: Gunnar Helm, Tennessee Titans
About: With Chig Okonkwo in Washington, second-year tight end Helm had to step up for the Titans. It was a rough start to the season for Helm and the Titans, but lately he’s been picking it up. Helm had five for 76 yards Sunday and has eight receptions the past two weeks. If he keeps this up, he’ll become a fringe streaming option.
Stock Down: Kenyon Sadiq, New York Jets
About: It’s not all roses for the Jets. Saddiq was the top tight end in this rookie class, and he’s flashed at times. But he’s splitting reps with Mason Taylor and sharing targets with several other options. All that has led to just five receptions for 43 yards since October 4. That’s over five games, averaging one reception for under 10 yards each week. That’s not enough to get it done in fantasy.
