With Yahoo! announcing their return to college fantasy football, I thought it was no better time to help those new to the space that needed some help determining their 2026 team names…

Super Ka-Mario Bros

-Kamario Taylor, QB, Mississippi State
-Mario Craver, WR, Texas A&M

A team name so great that you should draft these two pretty aggressively. This one is straight forward with both being Mario’s. What makes this even better is the elite speed and athleticism from both of these highly drafter players.

Can’t land Craver in your draft but have Kamario Taylor as your QB1? This is one of the many variations you can use.

Fifty Shades of Fifita

-Noah Fifita, QB, Arizona

Nobody Scores Like Josh Hoover, Nobody

-Josh Hoover, QB, Indiana

A little bit of a deep cut here. With Josh Hoover we have an ode to The Hoover Company motto of “Nobody gets the dirt like Hoover. Nobody”

Don’t Poke the Bear Bachmeier

-Bear Bachmeier, QB, BYU

Thank you to The CFF Site’s own Mike Bainbridge for the assist with this one.

Saga-Saga-Saga Saga-po-lu-tele

Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, QB, Cal

If you’re a fan of Office Space then you’ll get this one. This team name stems from the famous “Not gonna work here anymore line” from the 1999 movie.

Here to Fluff Your Pillow

-Fluff Bothwell, RB, Mississippi State

Mississippi State may not finish in the top half of the SEC, but they do have some great fantasy options.

Everybody Loves Raymond

-Antwan Raymond, RB, Rutgers

Raymond is an almost consensus first round pick (I’m looking at you Mr. Froton). What’s not to love about this bell cow running back who ran 1,241 yards and 13 touchdowns last season?

It Ahmad Hardly Hit Me

-Ahmad Hardy, RB, Missouri

Hardy is a top 5 pick talent that unfortunately was shot in the leg this offseason. You can’t do fantasy team names without a few edgy ones, right?

What Kewan Lacy Do For You?

-Kewan Lacy, RB, Ole Miss

Cook-ing Up Your Defense

-Cam Cook, RB, West Virginia

The are plenty of variations of Cam Cook-based team names, so don’t be afraid to have a little fun with this star running back.

Ja’Kyrian Us to the Championship

-Ja’Kyrian Turner, RB, Pitt

Turner steps into the RB1 role for Pitt and should see a wealth of touches. The name is a little ironic considering his 5’9″, 180 frame.

The Elders of the End Zone

LJ Martin, RB, BYU

Look, I could have gone much edgier with Martin considering the BYU/Mormon background, but I didn’t. Don’t be afraid to let your opponents soak in the fact they missed out on this elite running back coming off a 12-touchdown season.

Bo Knows Touchdowns

-Bo Jackson, RB, Ohio State

Air Jordan Marshall

-Jordan Marshall, RB, Michigan

Michigan is partnered up with the Jordan Brand, so let’s lean into it!

Wyatt Young and the Restless

-Wyatt Young, WR Oklahoma State

Tre’s Spivey Senses

Scu Scu Scudero

-Danny Scudero, WR, Colorado

Thank you Phil Collins for the help with this one. You’re bringing “Sussudio” vibes to your team when you draft the FBS leader in receiving yards last season.

The Vonnahme Code

-DJ Vonnahme, TE, Iowa

When you draft an Iowa tight end, it’s always possible you just gained a significant advantage over your opponent. Vonnahme is the next big Iowa tight end as seen by his monster bowl game performance against Vandy last year (7/146/1).

Tha Carter VII

-Terrence Carter Jr., TE, Texas Tech

One of the best tight ends in the country last season, he rocks the number 7 which also happens to be the next “Carter” album in line from Lil Wayne.

Ice Cold Rocky Beers

-Rocky Beers, TE, Oklahoma

Not all players are draft worthy, but some are necessary for the fantasy team name. Rocky likely isn’t the TE1 for the Sooners, but saving one spot for a great team name might just be worth it.
