Chris Heny Jr.- WR, Ohio State

Henry had an 81-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter as he put together a huge performance in his first game back from injury. He suffered a season-ending knee injury in week one last season. He finished with four catches for 134 yards and two scores.Β

Wisconsin QB commit Ryan Hopkins made his debut for Mater Dei. While it ended in a loss, he was fairly impressive on the day and should give Badger fans hope for the future at the position. He finished 8/13-for-232 yds with a 3/0 TD/Int ratio.
Dia Bell- QB, Texas

Bell might have had the most Jekyll and Hyde game of his career. Going into the fourth quarter down 28-0, Bell was 6/13 for 36 yds and two fumbles. He ended the game bringing American Heritage all the way back to a 31-28 win, throwing the go-ahead touchdown with six minutes left in the game to WR Jamar Denson. Denson would finish the game with 6-120-1. Bell finished the game 16/33-for-215 yds with a 1/0 TD/Int ratio, while adding 42 rushing yards.Β
Ryder Lyons- QB, BYU

Lyons showed why heβs considered one of the top QB prospects in the class, leading his team, Folsom, to a massive victory. Lyons passed for over 400 yards and five touchdowns in the victory.Β
Helaman Casuga-QB, Texas A&M

Casuga has now led Corner Canyon to a 2-0 record and has played well in both games. Last week, he launched a 60+ yard touchdown pass. In his second game, Casuga went 13/18-for-285 yards and a 2/0 TD/Int ratio, completing 72% of his passes.
Jared Curtis-QB, Georgia

Curtis ran the offense like a seasoned pro as he led his Eagles to a 56-28 victory over Davidson. Curtis finished the game 14/16-for-247 yards and a 3/0 TD/Int ratio, completing 87% of his passes. He added 44 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown as well. While not the most challenging opponent he’ll face this year, Curtis commanded the team and looks poised for a big senior season.
Faizon Brandon-QB, Tennessee

Brandon had an exemplary and efficient day at quarterback. He went 11/15-for-155 yards with a 1/0 TD/Int ratio while adding 62 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. Brandon came up big for his high school, Grimsley. In overtime on a 4th and two, Brandon scored the winning touchdown. Impressive start to one of the top-ranked QBs by the services.
Bryson Beaver-QB, Oregon

Bryson overall had an efficient game in his first start of his senior season. On his way to a win, he went 26/33-for-297 yds with a 2/1 TD/Int ratio, completing 78% of his passes. Beaver was challenged early in the game and struggled to move the offense before picking it up in the second half. He was limited to a decent amount of short passes but has some impressive deep throws.
Jonaz Walton-RB, Notre Dame

Walton started his senior campaign with an impressive performance at Central. Averaging 12.3 yards a carry, Walton finished the game with 10-123-0 while adding eight yards on one catch. Walton was impressive with his physical runs and displayed phenomenal vision at times during the game, hitting big runs and cutback lanes.
