Per InsideMDSports’ Jeff Ermann, Maryland head coach Mike Locksley has hired Pep Hamilton as offensive coordinator following the departure of Josh Gattis. Hamilton has a had several stops in both the college and pro ranks. He served as offensive coordinator for an Andrew Luck Stanford team in 2011. He coached Luck again as OC of the Indianapolis Colts in 2013. After a stop with the Cleveland Browns in 2016, Hamilton returned to the college ranks with the Michigan Wolverines in 2017. Most recently, Hamilton served as the offensive coordinator of the Houston Texans for the 2022 season.
