Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz gave a big clue as to how he wants to use his two transfer running backs, Nate Noel and Marcus Carroll. In a press conference on Sunday Drinkwitz said the Noel will “go out there first.”
The Missouri running back is a highly coveted fantasy asset, and if one of the two emerges, it could be fantasy gold. Nate Noel, a transfer from Appalachian State, has the most experience, but both backs are entering the SEC from the Sun Belt.
Noel is RB54 in Campus2Canton’s college fantasy rankings. If he emerges as the lead back, an RB1 season is in play.
