Per 247’s Matt Zenitz, former UTEP and Cincinnati receiver Tyrin Smith is transferring to Texas State. Smith was fantasy viable in 2022 before briefly transferring to Jimbo Fisher’s Texas A & M program before returning to UTEP for an unproductive 2023 season. Smith transferred to Cincinnati for the 2024 season, but had just 4 receptions.
