The 2024 fantasy season is at an end. How’d you do? Did you get the title? Are you re-building? No matter how your season finished, the day after its over your quest for a title in 2025 begins. That starts in the off-season. Dynasty fantasy football is a 365-day-a-year endeavor. To get you started, I’m offering one player for each team I’d be looking to stash heading into . Today, it’s the off-season stashes for NFC Teams. Teams appear below in alphabetical order.

Off-season Stashes in Dynasty Fantasy Football

Arizona Cardinals: Michael Wilson, WR
About
: The Cardinals seem to have built their team up. They have an all-world tight end in Trey McBride, a WR1 in Marvin Harrison, Jr., and a pair of running backs with James Conner and Trey Benson. The rest of the receiver depth chart is a question, and it wouldn’t be a huge shock if they add a weapon. But, for now, I’m still bought in on Wilson as a stash. In year two, he caught 47 passes for 548 yards and four touchdowns through Week 17. He saw both his targets and receptions go up over his rookie year. He’s got potential to be the No. 3 guy in this offense.

Atlanta Falcons: Kirk Cousins, QB
About
: It didn’t work out for Cousins in Atlanta. He had a middling season, looking like he hadn’t fully recovered from his Achilles injury, and found himself replaced by rookie Michael Penix, Jr. Now, we’re fairly certain he’ll be released this off-season, leaving him free to sign elsewhere. I think he still will sign and will begin 2025 as a starter somewhere. He’s worth hanging on to as one of the off-season stashes.

Carolina Panthers: Jalen Coker, WR
About:
The Panthers are a young team still building. This season they moved on from free agent acquisition Diontae Johnson and draft pick Jonathan Mingo, both of whom were traded. Xavier Legette looks like he’s going to stick, and they could keep veteran Adam Thielen. But another young player who has stepped up is Coker. He caught 25 passes for 416 yards and two touchdowns through 17 weeks. He’s a young player that’s shown potential, for now he’s a hold.

Chicago Bears: Roschon Johnson, RB
About:
I know, you’re probably rolling your eyes. Johnson, for the second year in a row, hasn’t provided much for fantasy players. But the Bears moved on from Khalil Herbert and, at this point, Johnson is the primary backup for D’Andre Swift. He has a role. This team will go through changes over the off-season which could open the door for Johnson to provide a bigger return in 2025. Right now, I’m holding him.

Dallas Cowboys: Jalen Tolbert, WR
About
: The Cowboys’ 2024 season didn’t go well. The team heads into an uncertain off-season, but it’s clear they need more on offense. In year three, we saw Tolbert take a leap in targets and receptions. Through 17 weeks, he has 45 receptions for 512 yards and seven touchdowns. I like him to have the potential to take a step forward in 2025.

Detroit Lions: Tim Patrick, WR
About
: I always liked Patrick when he was with the Broncos, but injuries derailed his career. This year, he’s back healthy and showing that he can play a solid role as a third receiver for the Lions. Detroit’s offense has a lot of good pieces, and most are highly rostered. Patrick is one of the few pieces you can stash. I like him to continue to be a valuable contributor for the Lions, or another team, in 2025.

Green Bay Packers: Emanuel Wilson, RB
About:
The Packers have Josh Jacobs, and he’s the workhorse for the team. They also drafted MarShawn Lloyd, but we don’t really know what he can do as he wasn’t available in 2024. But we did get to see Wilson, who was a star in the pre-season. He didn’t have a huge 2024, rushing for just 429 yards and three touchdowns on 89 carries. Still, I like what I’ve seen, and I think he’s worth a spot on the off-season stashes list.

Los Angeles Rams: Blake Corum, RB
About
: Stop me if you’ve heard this before, a highly drafted Rams’ running back didn’t produce a lot in year one. We know Sean McVay runs a complex system. We also know the rookie year doesn’t define a Rams’ running back. Yes, the team has Kyren Williams. But Corum was a Second-Round pick. If someone in your league gave up on him, pick him up. If you’ve been holding him all year, let’s see what happens in year two.

Minnesota Vikings: Josh Oliver, TE
About
: Oliver has shown flashes this season at tight end. He has 20 receptions for 242 yards and three touchdowns through Week 17. Yes, the Vikings have T.J. Hockenson at tight end, but he’s getting older. Oliver has shown he can be a weapon at the TE position, sometimes even in the same game as Hockenson. He’s worth a spot on the off-season stashes list.

New Orleans Saints: Kendre Miller, RB
About
: We were excited about Miller when he was drafted in 2023. But between injuries and being in Dennis Allen’s doghouse, we didn’t see much. We still haven’t. Miller got some chances down the stretch and didn’t do a lot with them. But it was encouraging to see him get work. Heading into year three, and a new system, the hope is we can see Miller finally deliver on the field. Despite history, I’m back on Miller as one of my off-season stashes.

New York Giants: Theo Johnson, TE
About
: Johnson was a selection in 2024 NFL Draft that got a chance to step up after Darren Waller retired. While his season ended early due to injury, through 12 games we saw him catch 29 passes for 331 and a touchdown. I like him to keep taking a step forward, hopefully in a better offense with better quarterback play in 2025. He’s a hold.

Philadelphia Eagles: Grant Calcaterra, TE
About:
Calcaterra is something of a hand cuff stash. Dallas Goedert is the Eagles’ starting tight end, but he’s getting older and has missed time with injury. When he’s out, Calcaterra has stepped up. He caught 22 passes for 288 yards and a touchdown. For now, he’s on my off-season stashes list.

San Francisco 49ers: James Mason, RB
About:
You are always interested in a 49ers’ running back. This year, we saw him carry the load well for the 49ers. Elijah Mitchell may be back next year, and Christian McCaffrey is still on the roster, but health is a question. There’s also a chance Mason or Mitchell get dealt to a running back-needy squad. Either way, Mason should be on your roster.

Seattle Seahawks: Zach Charbonnet, RB
About
: The Seahawks still have Ken Walker III, but we’ve seen Charbonnet thrive in his second season. Walker is heading into a contract year and it’s certainly possible that his time in Seattle is coming to an end. In the games where Charbonnet has been asked to step up, we’ve seen him deliver as a runner and receiver. That’s one of the reasons he was ranked highly among running back prospects in 2023. If you have him, hang on to him. I think he could be in for a larger share of the work in 2025 no matter what.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Sean Tucker, RB
About
: Running back used to be a rough position for the Buccaneers, but now it seems like a position of strength. Rachaad White returned, and rookie Bucky Irving broke out. But we also saw Tucker, a former Practice Squad stash, explode when given a chance. He rushed for 292 yards and two touchdowns on just 48 carries. There’s still a crowd in Tampa, but Tucker still makes the off-season stashes list.

Washington Commanders: Ben Sinnott, TE
About
: This is all about potential. Sinnott was the second tight end taken in the draft, but we didn’t see much from him in his rookie year. Veteran Zach Ertz had the job and turned in a Top 10 fantasy season. But he was on a one-year deal, which gives Sinnott a chance to step into a good offense in 2025. He’s a hold.
