It is Week 8 of the college football season, and we are approaching the final push for a few teams as they embark on the latter half of their 2023 schedules. To navigate this ever-changing landscape, we’ll continue to blend the insights gleaned from this year’s action with historical data, ensuring a balanced approach and, hopefully, fantasy success on the week. So, without any further delay, let’s jump right in.

Saturday – Dillon Gabriel (Oklahoma) More Than 2.5 Passing Touchdowns

I’m a sucker for a good revenge game narrative, and this has the makings for an all-time performance for Gabriel as his Sooners host, his old team, UCF. So far this year, the Oklahoma offense has rolled, and after overcoming their most difficult test of the season in the Red River Rivalry, they should be more focused than ever on finishing their in-conference schedule strong to make a push for the CFP. Gabriel has surpassed 2.5 passing touchdowns in every game except Cincinnati and Texas, but UCF’s defense doesn’t project to be as tough of a challenge as either of the aforementioned. Three passing touchdowns against his former team seems like a nice option (though I’d love a 3.5 on Total Touchdowns even more).Β
