Welcome to Championship Week!!! Congrats to all who survived the gauntlet. Somehow, I survived my college roommate playing Deuce Knight against me and his 52 first-half points, and lived to tell about it. I hope you are all so fortunate this week. I also hope your Thanksgiving feast is that of legends. I’m a foodie, so I absolutely love this time of year. Food. Football. Family.
The Ultimate Side Dish

A turkey is about the most mid main dish a holiday can provide. I believe Thanksgiving is more about what accompanies the bird. Everyone has their favorite side dish, and for me, it’s the stuffing. Bready, gooey, savory, goodness. I love it. When it comes to CFF, Wyatt Young is the ultimate side dish. In his last six games, he has 57 targets for a receiving stat line of 43-861-7. Everyone is talking about Hawkins and Mestemaker, and rightfully so, but Young has been a league winner down the stretch. I don’t know where Eric Morris coaches in 2026, but I bet it’s not in Denton, and I bet Young isn’t catching passes from Mestemaker in Denton either.
The Jello Salad

Gross. If you are the one bringing the jello with carrots, then shame on you. Go back to 1985 with your sick ass. You aren’t much better than the canned cranberry sauce or deviled eggs. Don’t make me eat it.
The jello salad of the CFF dinner table is Bryson Donelson.
Bryson Donelson: 125-553-5. 2.86 yards after contact/attempt. 14 Missed tackles forced. 26.9% Breakaway rate. 17-107-0 receiving.
Rayshon Luke: 100-678-6. 4.33 yards after contact/attempt. 24 missed tackles forced. 49.3% Breakaway rate. 35-219-2 receiving.
Why do you keep forcing us to eat the jello salad that is Bryson Donelson when we could get a big ole scoop of delicious stuffin’ that is Rayshon Luke, Fresno?
Top 5 Dynasty Wide Receiver Rankings
Dynasty WR is a bit different than QB and RB. It is best to assume the top WRs in the G6 will transfer. That’s how things have been trending for a few years now, and we shouldn’t expect it to stop. So, we have to emphasize guys who currently sit at solid spots in the P4 and have proven it at that level. The top two are clearly in a tier of their own.
- Malachi Toney, Miami
- Dakorien Moore, Oregon
- Danny Scudero, SJSU
- Dallas Wilson, Florida
- Andrew Marsh, Michigan
Turkey Well Done

Nothing is worse than a dry bird. No matter how much you chew, it isn’t easy to swallow. That’s the San Jose State offense right now. You can see above that I listed Scudero as a top dynasty WR option, but that is just on the off chance SJSU decides to run it back with him and the spread-n-shred offense returns to form. He very well could move on, and I don’t blame him. The Aztec offense has become dry and tough to swallow over the last three weeks, averaging just over 9 PPG. They have no passing TDs and 8 INTs over that stretch. Just crushing for many owners counting on that offense this playoff season. That said, I am kind of interested to see what Tama Amisone can do if given the keys to the offense this week.
Random Thoughts From the Dinner Table
-JKS ain’t staying at Cal. I don’t care that he stated he plans to return to the Golden Bears. Everyone has a loyalty plan until they get punched in the mouth with a $5 million NIL check.
-Does Texas Tech have a TD vulture? They are trying so hard to get Jacob Rodriguez invited to NY that they were giving him goal-line carries in the last game. This could be a trend against WVU.
-Drinkwitz could do the funniest thing by bringing Beau Pribula with him back to Penn State if he gets the gig.
-Brendan Sorsby could do the second funniest thing by returning to Indiana under the new staff. He hit the portal three days before Cig was hired. He would be a perfect fit in that system.
Good luck to everyone in Championship Week. I hope you all win titles. Unless you are playing me, enjoy the food, football, and family. Life is short, and we only get one shot at living it. Cherish each moment with family and friends this holiday season. Cheers!
