The 2025 NFL Season is here, and with it comes some lineup questions. Which moves should you make to maximize your points? Let this weekly post be your guide as I offer one start and one sit suggestion at QB, RB, WR, and TE. These suggestions are based on my rankings compared to the consensus each week. And because we want to measure our success, check back each week for a recap on how I did.

For this project, a start is a player I think will finish in the Top 12 at QB or TE and the Top 24 at RB or WR. A sit is a player I think will finish outside those metrics. Before we dive into this week’s suggestions, let’s review how we did last week. All scoring is courtesy of Fantasy Pros.

Before we look forward, it’s time to look back at Week 10.

Week 10 Starts

QB: Jared Goff, QB5 Hit. Goff had a big game with Dan Campbell calling the plays.
RB: Rico Dowdle, RB14 Hit. It wasn’t a great game for Dowdle, but good enough.
WR: Drake London, WR1 Hit. London stayed hot in Berlin.
TE: Harold Fannin, Jr., TE17 Miss. Fannin had a solid day, but not Top 12.
Start Record: 3-1

Week 10 Sits

QB: Trevor Lawrence, QB21 Hit. Despite 29 points, Lawrence wasn’t great.
RB: Alvin Kamara, RB17 Miss. Kamara did better in Week 10.
WR: Rashid Shaheed, WR68 Hit. Shaheed didn’t get volume in his debut.
TE: Zach Ertz, TE15 Hit. The Commanders’ offense is rough.

Now, on to the Week 11 picks.

Quarterbacks

Start: Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

About: Williams is on the road against the Vikings. But I’m taking a swing. He is QB10 on the season and has had 25-plus points in the past two weeks. The offense is coming together, and I think you can score on the Vikings. I like Williams to stay hot this week.

Sit: Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers

About: The Panthers are a surprising 5-5 this season. They’re still in the playoff picture at the mid-point in the season. That’s the good news. But while the offense has found its heart in Rico Dowdle, the most significant liability has been Young. He’s had a rough season, sitting at QB27 on the year with less than five fantasy points in each of his last two starts. He’s out of the lineup.

Running Backs

Start: De’Von Achane, Miami Dolphins

About: The Dolphins are 3-7. It hasn’t been a good season. Worse yet, Tua Tagovailoa has been wildly inconsistent. But one thing that is working is Achane in the backfield. Whether it’s running the ball or being the most stable part of the passing game, Achane has been a great start. He’s RB3, averaging more than 21 points per game. Facing a reeling Commanders’ team, he’s a great start.

Sit: Kimani Vidal, Los Angeles Chargers

About: Vidal has been great stepping up for the Chargers. But he seems to alternate between good and poor games. He was great in Weeks 6, 8, and 10. He struggled in Weeks 7 and 9. He had a good week last week. I think he’s due to come down. He’s a sit for me. (Editor’s Note – It’s science, right there.)

Wide Receivers

Start: Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs

About: I know, what gives? Rice is facing a great Broncos’ defense. That is my team. Why would I be recommending Rice? Well, simply put, he’s been on a tear since returning. In his three games back from suspension, he’s been WR2. While the Broncos’ defense is good, I think Rice will find a way to contribute. He’s still a start for me.

Sit: Jerry Jeudy, Cleveland Browns

About: Jeudy exploded in Week 10, finishing as WR11. That likely offers hope to those who roster Jeudy after a strong 2024 season. But his target share has been inconsistent, and I don’t think he’ll get enough volume to be a good bet in Week 11. He’s a sit for me against the Ravens.

Tight Ends

Start: Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans

About: Schultz has been hot of late as the Texans’ offense has taken off. He’s TE4 over that stretch. Now, the Texans are on the road against a weak Titans’ team on the cusp of getting back to .500. I suspect that Schultz will be a big part of the game plan again. He’s a start for me.

Sit: T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings

About: Just 5.5 points per game. That’s what Hockenson has averaged the past three weeks, sitting as TE27 over that stretch. With J.J. McCarthy back in the lineup, the Vikings don’t have a robust passing offense. And with other options at running back and receiver, Hockenson isn’t getting consistent volume. I like the talent, but I don’t believe in the situation. He’s a sit for me.
