The 2025 NFL Season is here, and with it comes some lineup questions. Which moves should you make to maximize your points? Let this weekly post be your guide as I offer one start and one sit suggestion at QB, RB, WR, and TE. These suggestions are based on my rankings compared to the consensus each week. And because we want to measure our success, check back each week for a recap on how I did.
For this project, a start is a player I think will finish in the Top 12 at QB or TE and in the Top 24 at RB or WR. A sit is a player I think will finish outside those metrics. Before we dive into this weekβs suggestions, letβs review how we did last week. All scoring is courtesy of Fantasy Pros.
Before we look forward, itβs time to look back at Week 3.
Week 3 Starts
QB: Daniel Jones, QB11 Hit. Jones remained hot even though it wasnβt his best day.
RB: Javonte Williams, RB20 Hit. Despite a lack of touchdowns, Williams continues to produce.
WR: WanβDale Robinson, WR83 Miss. The wheels came off the bus for the Giants.
TE: Tyler Warren, TE23 Miss. Warren had a quiet Week 3.
Start Record: 2-2
Week 3 Sits
QB: Tyrod Taylor, QB7 Miss. Taylor had a good game, making a big comeback.
RB: Quinshon Judkins, RB11 Miss. Judkins has turned into a star.
WR: Brian Thomas, Jr., WR50 Hit. It hasnβt been a good season for BTJ.
TE: Mark Andrews, TE2 Miss. Andrews exploded in Week 3.
Sit Record: 1-3
Now, on to the Week 4 recommendations.
Quarterbacks
Start: Bo Nix, Denver Broncos

About: Look, I know it hasnβt been pretty. As a Broncos fan, I even yelled at the TV more than once last week, trying to encourage Nix to learn to throw as he sailed it over wide-open receivers. So, why are we here? Well, the Bengals’ defense doesnβt present a significant challenge. And while frustrating in Week 3, Nix was close to a half dozen huge plays. He even hit one. I think the Broncos, at home, in Prime Time, will be looking to put on a show. Nix was QB7 in 2024. I believe this is the week he makes his presence known in 2025.
Sit: Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
About: The Giants have decided to move on from Russell Wilson after an 0-3 start and three uneven weeks. Dart looked great in the pre-season and was a First-Round pick. But heβs still a rookie, and this isnβt an easy matchup. The Chargers have looked like one of the best teams in the NFL. I think Dart could be good, but it wonβt be in Week 4.
Running Backs
Start: James Cook, Buffalo Bills

About: Cook was an incredible weapon in 2024. But he did a lot of his damage thanks to incredible touchdown production. Surely, he canβt keep that up in 2025, right? Wrong. So far, in three weeks, he looks just like he did last season. Heβs been the Billsβ best weapon not named Josh Allen and sits as RB3, averaging 22.8 points per game. He should be in your lineup.
Sit: Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders
About: Jeanty was the first running back selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. He looked a great bet this season to the point that many had him ranked in the Top 5 for 2025. Heβs getting volume, but behind a middling offensive line, itβs been tough to get yards and points. Jeanty is just RB33 on the year so far. Heβll keep improving, but heβs not a Top 24 option for me in Week 4.
Wide Receivers
Start: Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams

About: The Rams moved on from Cooper Kupp this offseason. That seemed to be an acknowledgement that Nacua is the future. So far, heβs lived up to that billing. Heβs WR1 through three weeks, averaging nearly 25 points per game. Itβs wheels up in Week 4 as he faces the Colts.
Sit: Patriots WRs
About: Drake Maye has been OK this season, but the Patriotsβ offense is a work in progress. Thatβs true of the three-man rotation in the backfield. And thatβs true of the receiver group, where Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins, Kyle Williams, and Demario Douglas have all been involved. Weβve seen flashes, but none is getting consistent enough volume to feel good about them starting.
Tight Ends
Start: Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers

About: The Packersβ pass game has been a bit of a work-in-progress. Christian Watson and Jayden Reed remain sidelined, and the Packers have spread the ball around. The most consistent weapon has been tight end Kraft, who sits as TE5 on the season. Facing a Dallas Cowboys defense that has been friendly for opposing offenses, I like Kraft to be a Top 12 option again this week.
Sit: Colston Loveland and Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears
About: The Bears are a young and evolving offense. While some of the receivers have found some volume, tight end has been more of a struggle. Loveland was a First-Round pick, and Kmet has been solid for a few years. Both are good receiving options. Neither is getting consistent volume. Neither is worth a start at this point.
