This week’s night slate is quite the doozy. The quarterback position offers massive rushing and passing upside in favorable game scripts for your expensive options, but getting them into your lineups means sacrifices must be made elsewhere. While the top tier at running back features clear lead options in high-implied-total offenses, the mid-tier options are bleak. Mentally prepare yourself to go cheap at least once at the position! Finally, at wide receiver, target monsters in mid-to-lower pricing tiers to keep the flexibility needed to afford premium plays. Let’s dig in…

Quarterbacks

High Priced

Sam Leavitt ($8,500), Faizon Brandon ($8,000), Braxton Woodson ($7,900)

You’re likely to want to load up on these high-priced quarterback options this weekend, starting with Leavitt against Louisiana Tech. I don’t see the Tigers holding back in this matchup, so Leavitt is a great option. They’re projected to score over 45 points, and he showed his ground production is back. Against Clemson, Leavitt ran for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns.
