Nebraska vs. Northwestern (in Ireland): UNDER 50.5

Right away, this game struck me as an under. The first game of the season, in another country, and also a conference showdown. I think this game will be played closer to an NFL game where they casually feel each other out for the first half rather than a wide-open college matchup. Scott Frost‘s job may hinge on a W in Dublin, so I think the game plan with a new QB to the system will be to avoid mistakes. Casey Thompson should make that an easier goal than his predecessor Adrian Martinez.

Diving into the numbers, Nebraska is 10-6-1 to the UNDER in B1G games over the last two years. Similarly, Northwestern has cashed UNDER tickets frequently with an 11-6 record to the under in the B1G previous two years. Both teams play to the under; the situation favors the under… give it to me: UNDER 50.5 points in Dublin.
