Slowly climbing back from a historically bad start to the season, the best plays are 5-4 over the last three weeks. A devastating South Carolina pick ruined a potential 3-0 day. I just completely misread the Gamecocks and Tigers, for that matter. I probably tried to get too cute on that one. Any graphics are from our College Team Tool.
THURSDAY UTEP @ Rice OVER 49
To be sure, this is a sicko special, but I think there’s quite a bit of value in this total. The key is that UTEP’s defense has stayed in El Paso all year. The Miners allow almost twice the points per play on the road than they do at home. Granted, their away matchups have been against some decent offenses like Oklahoma and Charlotte. However, 49 points seems way too low.
