Season record 13-23
Week 12 makes it five of the last six with a 2-1 slate. I’ve been unable to hit a 3-0 week after a few last season and sadly, it appears that won’t be enough to even make the year’s record respectable. But after a brutal start, I am happy to finish strong with a 61% win percentage (11-7) since week 8. Let’s keep riding this train.
Tulane +2 @ Cincinnati
This may be a tall order, but I think the Green Wave is up for the task. Cincinnati is a tough place to play but I would be a little more concerned if this was a night game. Instead, it’s a high noon kickoff at Nippert Stadium. One nice thing about Tulane is that their defense doesn’t really show any significant dropoff in performance on the road. Regardless of where they play, the Tulane defense ranks around the top 20 in the fewest points per play in the nation. On offense, the Green Wave should be able to find success on the ground this Saturday.
