Last week we went three out of four on our picks and we swept our player props! In Week 5, we are looking to get a clean sweep on our picks and player props via PrizePicks. With most teams having played four games this season, we have a better gauge on which teams are good and which teams are not..

ARKANSAS @ UGA (-18.5) (O/U 48.5)

UGA being ranked #2 in college football is believable, but if anyone tries to convince me they saw Arkansas ranked in the top 10 entering Week 5, I want to see receipts… and dated ones at that. These teams’ defenses are shutting down opponents, so it’ll be interesting to see which one prevails in this game. The Razorbacks seem legit this year and I like them to compete for a full 60 minutes in Athens, GA.

Arkansas +18

LOUISVILLE @ WAKE FOREST (-6.5) (O/U 62)

Wake Forest has surprised me in the ACC this season. Not only has QB Sam Hartman been able to get the job done on the offensive side, but the defense is holding it’s own as well not allowing more than 17 points to any team this season.

Louisville has won their last two contest, but haven’t been able to pull away to win convincingly. Malik Cunningham has been doing all he can to ensure his team comes away with a win> He’s getting it done both through the air and on the ground. However, I don’t think he’ll be able to do enough this Saturday to avoid a loss at the hands of the Demon Deacons.

Wake Forest -6.5

SYRACUSE @ FLORIDA ST. (-4.5) (O/U 51)

For the second straight week, we have a line that does not make sense at all. I am just going to cut straight to the chase; FSU is not good! Even though they are playing at home, we have not seen anything out of them to be deserving the honor of giving away points. Syracuse comes into Week 5 with a 3-1 record and has been competitive in each game. They probably have the best player on the field in RB Sean Tucker. If I’m wrong, then I’m wrong… but I can back up my decision as to why I think Syracuse will cover this spread and even win this game.

Syracuse +4.5

AUBURN @ LSU (-3.5) (O/U 56)

After what I saw from the Auburn Tigers last week I don’t have any confidence they’ll be able to keep up with LSU. They should have blown out Georgia State by halftime week, but instead were trailing late into the 4th quarter. Add to that fact they’ll be playing in Death Valley… at night. None of these things bode well for the Tigers in navy and burnt orange.

We don’t even know who will be starting at quarterback for this team! Junior QB Bo Nix was benched from last week’s game due to his sub-par play and backup QB TJ Finley was able to come in and get a win for his team. Finley started his collegiate career at LSU, so I’m sure they know what he’s capable of in an offense.

LSU -3.5
