The NFL Season is here, but weβve been in it all year long. As Dynasty players, the season never really ends. But keeping up with the fluctuations week-to-week can help you gain an advantage. Thatβs the point of the stock watchβto process what we see on the field and apply it to players whose value is rising and whose value is taking a hit. Those fluctuations can help guide your management decisions as you shape your Dynasty roster for the long haul.
Week 3 is in the books; letβs look at what we learned. Weβll look at one player at QB, RB, WR, and TE whose value improved and one whose value took a hit. Letβs dive in.
Quarterbacks
Stock Up: Andy Dalton, Carolina Panthers

About: When the Panthers benched Bryce Young early last week, it made sense, given his performance on the field. The question was what Dalton could offer. He came out hot and stuck it to the Raiders on Sunday, slinging the ball all over the field, using his receivers, and giving the Panthersβ offense the spark it needed. Carolina still has issues, and it was just the Raiders, but Dalton proved heβs still got it. For fantasy, he could be a league winner if he keeps up this pace, considering heβs a guy who was widely available on the waiver wire.
Stock Down: Will Levis, Tennessee Titans
About: Levis was handed the keys to the kingdom in Tennessee. He got a coach in Brian Callahan to help his development. The team added weapons in Tony Pollard, Calvin Ridley, and Tyler Boyd. And the thought was this offense would blossom. Through three weeks, that appears to be a mistake. Yes, Levis went for 260 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday, but he also had killer turnovers, took eight sacks, and has the Titans sitting at a woeful 0-3. His tenure might not be long in Tennessee, especially if, like the Panthers, the Titans get impatient and turn to the veteran backup.
Running Backs
Stock Up: Aaron Jones, Minnesota Vikings
About: Jones came to the Vikings and has rejuvenated his career. The Vikings have been a 3-0 surprise to start the season. Some of that is a credit to the play of Sam Darnold. But some of it is a credit to the running and receiving of Jones, who went for 102 yards on the ground and caught a touchdown in Sundayβs win. Heβs carried 32 times for 228 yards and two touchdowns, adding 12 receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown through three weeks. Heβs become a solid fantasy player and looks like a great veteran addition to the Vikings.
Stock Down: DβAndre Swift, Chicago Bears
About: Itβs been tough sledding for Swift and the Bearsβ run game. Coming into Week 3, he had just 48 yards on 24 carries. But a matchup with the poor rushing defense of the Colts was figured to be the tonic needed. Instead, he turned his 13 carries into just 20 yards, getting outrushed by Roschon Johnson in relief. Swift has been a bust for fantasy players, and he appears to be stuck in a three-way committee with little upside at the moment.
Wide Receivers
Stock Up: Malik Nabers, New York Giants
About: Typically, quarterbacks have an edge in the Rookie of the Year race, but if we had to declare a front-runner after three weeks, it would be Nabers. He had 15 receptions for 193 yards and a touchdown through two weeks, adding eight more receptions for 78 yards and two touchdowns as the Giants beat the Browns in Cleveland. The Giants have long needed an alpha receiver, and it looks like they found their man in Nabers.
Stock Down: Michael Pittman, Jr., Indianapolis Colts
About: The Coltsβ passing game is struggling. Anthony Richardson is going through some growing pains, which are taking a toll on Pittman. He was WR13 in 2023 and also looked like a great option in 2024. So far, he has just 11 receptions for 88 yards in three games. Thatβs not even enough volume and production to be a reliable flex option. It could be a long season for Pittman with many passing options and an uneven passing game in Indianapolis.
Tight Ends
Stock Up: Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles
About: With the receivers ailing for the Eagles, Goedert stepped up. He was already a Top 12 tight end through two weeks, showing consistency at a rough position in 2024. But Sunday, he stepped up big, catching nine passes for 170 yards to help spur the Eagle’s come-from-behind victory. Heβs proving to be a must-start tight-end option.
Stock Down: Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans
About: Schultz was a good story in 2023, finishing as TE10. That earned him a three-year extension this off-season, providing veteran leadership for the Texans. But on the field in 2024, thereβs too much competition. Schultz has just seven receptions for 48 yards. Heβs averaging just under four points per game, and even in this TE landscape, it isnβt good enough to be a reliable start.
