Let me start off this post by saying that PrizePicks was fairly typical in getting Saturday lines up by mid-week last season. With the massive mid-week offerings that CFB has provided for Week One, it seems they had to stagger a good bit of the deployment of their lines. Moving forward, I hope to have this article out earlier in the week, assuming they post the lines earlier on as well. That being said, keep a close eye on the Discord and YouTube pages for Campus2Canton, as I’ll be dropping videos weekly as soon as I get a chance to look over the board. We mention time and time again the biggest edge on these lines is getting to them early. So, adjust your planning and timelines accordingly.
With no further ado, Week One:
Saturday – Xavier Worthy (Texas) More Than 13.5 Fantasy Points
In 2022, Worthy hit this mark six times over the course of the season. There is some word from Austin that Worthy was playing with a hand injury last year that affected his overall efficiency, which should be healed moving into 2023. Facing off against Rice should be a tune-up game for the Longhorns. I believe Steve Sarkisian will prioritize getting his passing game in rhythm, knowing that a faceoff against Alabama is lurking right around the corner. With this line, you’re likely assuming a touchdown will come Worthy’s way, though it is possible for him to exceed this total without finding the endzone.
