DraftKings has decided to make things tough on us this week, including FCS teams in all the different slates. I won’t be discussing options from those teams, but I will be targeting players facing FCS teams in week 1. Let’s take a look at this week’s Saturday main slate!
Quarterbacks
High Priced
I can’t start the first main slate writeup without mentioning Bo Nix ($10,100), can I? Nix has a blowout potential matchup with the Ducks facing off against Portland State. But I’m not overly concerned if you’re going the pay-up route. Many high-priced options have negatives going into this slate, so I’ll roll with Bo here. He went for over 30 fantasy points last year in the big blowout win against Eastern Washington, which helps calm any fears. Not to mention, Oregon is pushing Bo’s Heisman campaign pretty hard. This is an easy matchup to pad the numbers with.
